Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking an Inorganic (AA ICP ICP-MS) Sales Specialist to drive field sales for Southern California. This field-remote role covers Los Angeles, San Diego and the Bakersfield area, with a company-provided vehicle, laptop and cell phone; travel about 50% is required.

You will promote inorganic product lines, manage key accounts, and collaborate with product experts to deliver analytical instrumentation solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or related field is required.
• 3–5 years direct sales experience selling analytical instrumentation or laboratory experience with related products.
• Ability to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Grow Sales Volume by executing regional sales plans and managing current and new accounts.
• Develop and implement business plans; maintain territory management, present technical information, and forecast opportunities.
• Cultivate partnerships with customers and suppliers to provide solutions and maintain consultative selling capabilities.
• Teamwork with regional sales, service, and product specialists to support customer events.
