Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Program Manager – Infrastructure & Operations Portfolio to join our growing team. The role can be based in Daytona Beach, FL; Plano, TX; or remote for the right candidate.

The Program Manager will own the I&O portfolio, oversee multi-discipline programs, and lead a team of Project Managers to deliver complex infrastructure initiatives that align with business goals and technology strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or related field.
8+ years of experience in IT program or portfolio management, including leading Infrastructure & Operations initiatives.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects/programs/portfolios with cross-functional dependencies.
Experience leading, mentoring, or developing Project Managers and delivery teams.
Working knowledge of infrastructure and operations disciplines including cloud services, networking, compute, storage, endpoint management, IT service management, and operational support models.
Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Experience with portfolio governance, executive reporting, budgeting, and resource planning.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the Infrastructure & Operations project portfolio and align with enterprise strategy and roadmaps.
Lead large-scale programs: cloud adoption, data center modernization, network transformation, ITSM initiatives.
Assess portfolio capacity, resource allocation, and delivery priorities across I&O initiatives.
Establish portfolio governance, executive reporting, and decision-making frameworks.
Monitor portfolio budgets, forecasts, capex, and opex.
Provide leadership and escalation support to ensure momentum and outcomes.
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Project Managers and delivery teams.
Promote PMO governance, reporting standards, and project management disciplines.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to manage dependencies and risks.
Ensure initiatives align with enterprise architecture, security, and service standards.
