Job summary

BlueGeko is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join as a full-time remote role and work from anywhere in the United States. You will manage, maintain, and improve our IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.

The position requires 4+ years of IT infrastructure or systems administration experience, with strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, networking, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure, plus Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain, and improve our company's IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, and networks.

Monitor system performance, security, and reliability.

Troubleshoot infrastructure, hardware, and network issues.

Manage access controls, backups, and system configurations.

Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvements.

Ensure systems remain secure, scalable, and operational.

Must Have

4+ years of IT infrastructure or systems administration experience.

Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.

Experience with networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).

Experience managing servers, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.

Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and access management.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean or other cloud platform experience.

Infrastructure automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).

Experience with monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery systems.
