Job summary

Dark Wolf seeks an Information System Security Manager to help obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate for a classified cloud environment. The role supports remote work from designated Dark Wolf Hubs across the United States and requires strong RMF leadership and DoD/AF RMF experience.

Responsibilities include directing cyber defense capabilities, refining architectures and incident handling, and ensuring readiness of IT systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Subject Matter Expert in RMF.
• Hands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in an unclassified environment.
• Extensive experience with SIEM tools: Splunk, Sentinel, ELK, CrowdStrike.
• Experience with Infra and Cloud Security tools including Terraform/Ansible, Github.
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities in coordination with COTR and Sponsor Staff management.
• Deliver strategic recommendations to refine architectures, processes, incident handling, and the reporting lifecycle.
• Ensure the operational readiness of Agency IT systems, network defenses, and situational awareness reporting.
• Manage comprehensive incident response operations and deliver actionable analytics.
• Maximize utility of existing security tools to correlate data into actionable intelligence.
• Drive agile automation initiatives to eliminate manual inefficiencies across the cyber defense program.
