Job summary

WestEd is seeking an experienced PITC trainer to deliver training and technical assistance to infant/toddler programs, ensuring alignment with established policies and quality improvement goals.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish skills, a BA or higher in Early Childhood Education (MA preferred), and at least 3 years of TA delivery. California Foundations and Frameworks knowledge is expected, with remote-friendly options available.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• BA or higher in Early Childhood Education; MA preferred.
• Completion of California Early Childhood Online Infant/Toddler Foundations and Framework Overviews.
• Minimum 3 years' experience providing training and TA to infant/toddler programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide PITC training and technical assistance/coaching to assigned sites per policies.
• Collaborate with site staff to implement PITC services.
• Document participants professional growth hours.
• Provide instruction and grading for students enrolled for academic credit.
• Submit training schedules, quality improvement plans, and monthly progress comments in data systems.
• Submit weekly timesheets and travel/expense claims by the 5th of each month.
• Participate in onboarding orientation and monthly check-ins with Regional Coordinator.
• Attend annual PITC trainings and regional/network meetings.
