Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
• Three or more years of work experience in early learning and care.
• Experience training or coaching adults and teams in the CA Teaching Pyramid.

Responsibilities

• Co-train the CA Teaching Pyramid Modules virtually or in person.
• Provide CA Teaching Pyramid coaching to assigned sites in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Support implementation of the CA Teaching Pyramid by making three to five visits to assigned programs over a training cycle.
• Each visit includes a one-hour program observation and a one-hour reflective meeting with the provider/educator.
• May travel to designated sites to conduct coaching or training up to 20%.
• Create a positive environment that supports learning using adult learning strategies.
