WestEd invites applicants for the Infant Toddler Specialist (Temporary) role in Los Angeles, CA. IECMHC Network Specialists provide direct in-person and virtual support to center-based admins, teachers, staff, and home-based care providers, matched by location and needs.

The position emphasizes training, reflective practice, collaboration with programs, and intermittent hours depending on project needs, with remote work possible on some assignments.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; able to serve diverse communities.
• BA or higher in ECE; 24 units in ECE if BA in related field.
• Certification in PITC Modules I-IV; Module V preferred.
• Experience training infant/toddler programs and providing TA.

Responsibilities

• Provide PITC training and technical assistance to assigned sites per policy.
• Collaborate with organization's staff to implement PITC services.
• Document participants growth hours via sign-in sheets and records.
• Deliver instruction and grading for students enrolled for academic credit.
• Submit training schedules, improvement plans, and monthly progress notes.
• Submit weekly timesheets and travel/expense claims by the 5th.
• Join onboarding and monthly check-ins with Regional Coordinator.
• Attend Advanced PITC trainings and regional/state network meetings.
