Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC is seeking a Service Technician to support our remote service operations around Dallas, TX. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, dryers, and related systems while ensuring excellent customer service.

You will install and commission compressor setups, attend Air Academy training, and work with senior technicians. This role requires traveling within a 1–2 hour radius of Dallas and may involve overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Customer-focused and take ownership of meeting customer needs.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments with temperature extremes.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; EPA Certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and fluent in English.
• Residence within 30 minutes to 1 hour of the assigned territory; travel to Rock Hill, SC for paid training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers and low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
• Promote safety procedures and proper PPE use.
• Provide high level of customer service and present options for repairs or upgrades.
• Complete all service-related documentation and service reports.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call with travel to customer locations, including overnight travel.
