Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer specializing in facility design to join our client’s logistics and distribution team. The role is remote with potential site visits to Upington, Northern Cape, and will focus on warehousing facility layout, material flow optimization, and ergonomic improvements.

You will use CAD tools and simulation software to model designs, develop SOPs, and collaborate with operations, IT, and construction teams to implement efficient, safe, scalable

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of industrial engineering with facility layout, design, and optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD) and simulation tools (Arena/AnyLogic).
• Strong knowledge of warehousing operations, material handling, and supply chain logistics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in South Africa.

Responsabilidades

• Design and optimize layouts for warehousing and distribution facilities.
• Analyze material flow, storage systems, and operational processes for efficiency improvements.
