Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer for our Randburg operation. The role focuses on improving service delivery workflows, resource allocation, and safety through engineering analysis and process optimization.

You will design layouts, map processes, run simulations, and develop SOPs while mentoring teams and tracking KPIs to drive cost efficiency and quality. A bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering and 4+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial engineering focusing on operations or facilities management.
• Proven track record of process improvements in operations.
• Strong Lean and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Experience with process mapping, data analysis, and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze facility operations to identify inefficiencies in service delivery and resource use.
• Develop and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
• Design layouts and workflows to maximize productivity and safety.
• Use data analysis and modeling to forecast needs and resources.
• Train teams and maintain SOPs for optimized processes.
• Establish KPIs to monitor performance and guide decisions.
