Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Incident Manager to strengthen production reliability across complex technology environments in a fully remote US-based role. You will coordinate incident responses, drive timely resolutions, and minimize customer disruption while supporting senior managers during high-severity events.

You will work with Engineering, Product, and Support to ensure clear communications, structured execution, and thorough post-incident reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in incident management, SRE, or operations
• Experience coordinating production incident responses
• Strong understanding of incident lifecycle processes
• Experience with RCA methodologies and post-incident reviews
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to tailor updates for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to prioritize under pressure and work with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with incident tools like PagerDuty, ServiceNow, or Rootly is a plus
• Exposure to distributed systems and cloud infrastructure is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead non-trivial production incidents from detection through resolution with minimal customer impact
• Facilitate incident response calls by establishing ownership and priorities
• Follow incident management runbooks, escalation procedures, and response frameworks
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for timely incident resolution
• Maintain real-time incident timelines, decisions, and actions
• Provide clear updates to stakeholders on status, risks, and next steps
• Prepare incident summaries and contribute to post-incident reporting
• Identify operational risks and blockers impacting incident resolution
• Support RCA by collecting data and documenting contributing factors
• Participate in post-incident reviews and identify recurring issues
• Track corrective actions and ensure lessons learned are implemented
• Support senior incident managers during complex high-severity events
• Join on-call rotations and maintain high responsiveness
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of workflows, runbooks, tools and practices
