Job summary

Cable One, Inc. is hiring an Inbound Sales Representative to support current customers seeking to modify their services while aiming to retain revenue.

This interim, work-from-home role offers opportunities to connect with customers, recommend Sparklight plans, and close sales over the phone. You will handle orders, stay informed on competitor offers, and drive monthly metrics with a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

• At least six months previous experience in customer service will set you up for success in this position.
• Call center experience is a plus!
• The proactive approach—some customers require a little 'push' to commit—be persistent even after a hard refusal/rejection.
• We are looking for outgoing individuals! Be able to direct conversations and close sales.
• Problem-solving is key when working with our customers. Be able to listen to customers with patience and empathy, then present workable solutions.
• The technology world never stops changing - be able to keep pace with the product improvements we’re providing our customers.
• Resilience – the ability to stay cool, calm, and collected during difficult or challenging circumstances and bounce back with positivity.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required. Our customers need you to help keep them connected to what matters most!
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Associate degree (A.A.) preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answers inbound calls from current customers requesting services to be removed or disconnected and works to retain Sparklight services and gross revenue on each transaction.
• Listens with empathy to build rapport with the customer.
• Identifies issues and offers resolutions using creative sales techniques.
• Achieves monthly key metrics and high call quality through call flow structure, persuasive skills, and adherence to schedules.
• Accurately and efficiently inputs orders using multiple order entry programs.
• Maintains current knowledge and understanding of competitors’ offers in order to provide our customers beneficial offers with Sparklight.
