Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to university stakeholders, focusing on contract review, regulatory compliance, and privacy matters. This fully remote role includes limited travel and supports both in-person and online programs.

The candidate will draft and negotiate complex agreements, provide regulatory guidance, and collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to ensure university-wide compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Formación

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school.
• Must be admitted to at least one state bar in good standing; Connecticut house counsel status required.
• At least two years of experience practicing as a lawyer.
• Experience in higher education is welcome but not required.
• Strong critical thinking and legal analysis skills.
• Interest in developing expertise in contract review and key contractual provisions.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a variety of agreements including vendor and technology agreements, data privacy and security, intellectual property, and international matters.
• Provide legal advice relating to compliance and ethical operations.
• Assist with international compliance for international student population.
• Support matters involving privacy, GLBA, GDPR, FERPA, NCAA, TCPA, and related marketing regulations.
• Perform legal research and develop educational resources within the university.
