Job summary

Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to institutional stakeholders under University Counsel. The role focuses on collaboration, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and policies to support in-person and online programs while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

The attorney will handle privacy, technology, intellectual property, and regulatory matters, with limited travel (<5%). This is a fully remote position designed for an in-house practice mindset.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited US law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one state; Connecticut house counsel status required.
• Minimum of two years of legal practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, reviews, revises, and negotiates a variety of agreements including vendor and technology agreements, strategic partnerships, and data privacy matters.
• Reviews outgoing group student communications for regulatory compliance.
• Provides legal advice related to ethical operations and compliance.
• Supports international compliance for a growing international student population.
