Job summary

Spreetail is hiring a Trade Compliance Analyst to own import entry audits, strengthen customs compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and brokers. You will build scalable tools to improve data accuracy, reduce duty overspend, and support global trade operations.

The role focuses on improving classification accuracy, PSC management, and compliance processes across the import lifecycle, with opportunities to impact efficiencies company-wide.

Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. customs compliance, including CBP Form 7501 and HTS classifications.
• Strong analytical skills to identify errors, quantify impact, and maintain audit records.
• Experience with Post Summary Corrections (PSCs) and importer of record requirements.
• Advanced spreadsheet/data analysis skills to create reports, dashboards, or automation.
• Excellent communication and proactive collaboration across teams to mitigate compliance risks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end import entry audit process; review CBP docs, identify discrepancies, drive corrective actions, maintain audit-ready records.
• Manage PSCs, validate duty payments, monitor broker performance, recover overpayments with Finance for compliance.
• Review HTS assignments, provide guidance on complex classification issues, resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze import data to identify compliance risks and duty-savings opportunities; develop dashboards and automated tools.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers, and cross-functional teams to improve processes and data integrity.
