A.N. Deringer, Inc. is seeking a remote customer service professional to support our Detroit team. You will process and assimilate customer data to facilitate international goods movement and act as a liaison across departments to resolve issues.

The role requires a high school diploma with prior customs brokerage experience. Responsibilities include billing inquiries, shipment tracking, and regulatory compliance across US customs and PGA requirements.

Qualificações

• High school Diploma/GED required.
• Previous customs brokerage experience required.
• Must be able to work remotely and EST hours.

Responsabilidades

• Serves as the customer service liaison between the company and the customer(s).
• Resolves problems (billing, tracking shipments) and handles customer concerns; builds relationships with customers.
• Processes Customs and PGA entries for clearance of goods into the United States.
• Opens files, enters notes, information and document requests in corporate systems.
• Reviews commercial invoices for proper information; ensures compliance with government and carrier regulations.
• Coordinates shipments with U.S. forwarders, steamship lines, airlines, agents and ensures timely communication with stakeholders.
• Stays up-to-date on regulations and Deringer requirements; acts as a resource to internal and external clients.
