A.N. Deringer, Inc. seeks a licensed customs broker for a remote role supporting our Houston team. Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST. You will guide customers through customs requirements, prepare and submit documents, and ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign regulations.

Responsibilities include tariff classification, routing decisions for imports/exports, and collaboration with Sales and Operations to resolve issues. Requires supervisory readiness when management is unavailable.

Qualificações

• Must be a Licensed Customs Broker.
• 5+ years of Licensed Customs Broker experience.

Responsabilidades

• Guide customers through customs requirements and prepare/submission documents.
• Determine tariff and duty payments and classify shipments using tariff Coding system.
• Prepare bills of lading, dock receipts, licenses, and consulate documents.
• Resolve customer problems accurately and professionally.
• Collaborate with Sales/Operations to pursue new leads and resolve customs issues.
• Oversee office operations in the manager's absence.
• Stay updated on customs regulations and Deringer procedures.
