Job summary

You will handle customs entries, coordinate with forwarders, and ensure compliance with U.S. government regulations. A high school diploma or GED and prior customs/logistics experience are required; compensation

Responsibilities

Serves as the customer service liaison between the company and the customer(s).
Resolves problems (billing, tracking shipments) and handles customer concerns.
Processes Customs and PGA entries for clearance of goods into the United States.
Opens files, enters notes, information and document requests in corporate systems.
Reviews invoices and documentation to meet government and carrier regulations.
Coordinates shipments with forwarders, steamship lines, airlines, and agents.
Maintains communication with customers, carriers and vendors.
Stays up-to-date on regulations and company requirements.
