Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Implementation Engineer to plan, architect, install, configure, test, and validate the Vocera solution in customer environments. You will integrate with phone/Nurse call/EHR systems, train customer staff, and develop test plans to ensure end-to-end system quality.

Role requires a Bachelor's in CS, at least 2 years in customer-facing technical services, and knowledge of HL7 or healthcare IT interoperability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field is required.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing technical services or support.
Healthcare IT interoperability (HL7) experience is preferred.
VMware vCenter experience in large production environments is expected.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and configuration management (Ansible) is a plus.
Experience with TCP/IP networking and security fundamentals and load balancers (Citrix NetScaler or F5) is desirable.

Responsibilities

Integrate Vocera with external systems including phone, nurse call, EHR, and messaging middleware.
Train customer staff to maintain Vocera solutions and support system administrators.
Create test plans, troubleshoot environments, and optimize system performance.
Collaborate with clinical leads to collect workflow requirements and design a database.
Coordinate activities with internal cross-functional teams and communicate status to stakeholders.
Adhere to security measures to protect sensitive medical records and data.
Travel up to 40% as part of the role.
