Job summary

AssetWorks Inc. is seeking an Implementation Consultant to perform a broad range of software implementation activities, collaborating with customers and internal teams.

The role covers business analysis, configuration, testing, and train-the-trainer delivery in both onsite and remote settings. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of professional experience in a services environment, with direct software implementation experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Management and/or Computer Science required; GIS coursework a plus.
• 3–5 years of professional work experience in a similar services environment.
• At least 2 years of direct software implementation experience as the principal implementer.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% (US/Canada); able to work remotely if needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed business process analysis and document requirements definitions.
• Consult with customers on system design and configuration to enable workflows.
• Translate requirements into functional/technical specifications for enhancements and reports.
• Manage testing cycles with customers for UAC scripts and system changes.
• Deliver high-quality training classes for train-the-trainer and end users.
• Support live operations transitions onsite and provide troubleshooting.
• Create and deliver presentations and training materials for conferences and customers.
• Develop and deliver ad hoc and routine system reports and BI reports.
• Build and support reports in Business Objects Enterprise; SQL/Crystal Reports knowledge preferred.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate project status to stakeholders.
