Job summary

Diversified Systems is seeking a Business Analyst to perform manual record deduplication and process immunization record requests. The contractor will identify and resolve duplicate patient demographic and/or vaccination records when the IIS is unable to automatically match and merge the records, and will process incoming vaccination records requests and change requests from the public.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant Business Analyst experience required.
• Data analysis and visualization skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective written, oral, electronic and in-person communication required.
• Ability to make decisions based on independent judgment and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manually merge immunization records in PIERS possible duplicate case queues.
• Merge duplicate immunization records identified by providers reporting to PIERS.
• Separate records that are comingled or incorrectly merged.
• Resolve data discrepancies in patient records.
• Identify trends in the creation of duplicate records.
• Suggest improvements to IIS matching and merging processes.
• Work with the registry manager and IIS staff to develop, update, and maintain SOPs for manual merging and separation of records.
• Process immunization record requests.
• Process immunization record change requests.
• Provide PIERS hotline support for calls from the public regarding their immunization record requests.
• Communicate with the public regarding their immunization record requests via phone and email.
• Adhere to jurisdiction policies to maintain security and confidentiality of PIERS data.
• Communicate and collaborate with IIS staff to resolve duplicates and comingled records.
• Create and maintain a welcoming and respectful work environment.
• Assist with other related tasks and duties as necessary.
