Job summary

Scan.com is seeking a Clinical Application Administrator to keep HL7 interfaces healthy and drive reliable imaging workflows. You will monitor, triage, and resolve HL7/ORM-ORU issues while onboarding new imaging centers and validating DICOM/HL7 gateway connections from deployment through live production.

You will work with engineering, operations, and clinical teams to prevent recurrence, maintain detailed records, and push continuous improvements in automation and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience reading HL7 messages and diagnosing data issues.
• Ability to triage HL7 interface failures and coordinate resolutions.
• Proven production support in healthcare IT environments.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, clinical teams.
• Ability to document configurations, resolutions, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor HL7 interfaces (ORM/ORU) and ensure timely transmission.
• Analyze HL7 segments (PID, PV1, OBR, OBX) for failures.
• Reprocess failed messages and document root causes.
• Perform daily production tasks to maintain workflows.
• Manage support queues across Slack, Linear, and HubSpot with clear ownership.
• Lead onboarding and validation of client connections for new sites.
