Job summary

Access TeleCare is seeking an Analyst, Strategic Operations (IDR) to support the Independent Dispute Resolution program under the No Surprises Act. The role involves validating data, determining eligibility, and building cases for submission while driving timely payments and overseeing vendor relationships.

You’ll report to the Vice President of Strategic Operations (IDR) and help scale the program with process improvements, SOPs, and proactive reporting in a 100% remote, nationwide environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Economics or similar preferred.
• 0–2 years of work experience; internship, co-op, or coursework in healthcare, analytics, or operations preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce and large datasets; Tableau is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; negotiation skills to advocate for approvals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, validate, and submit Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) disputes and confirm eligibility.
• Review claim, payer, and determination data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before submission.
• Facilitate payer escalations and drive cash collections through outreach and follow-up.
• Develop standard operating procedures, training materials, and workflow docs for escalation and collection activity.
• Support vendor management by organizing documentation and tracking deliverables.
• Develop reporting and metrics for the IDR program and surface trends.
• Translate analytical results for non-technical audiences including executives.
• Maintain knowledge of payer guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with payers to resolve issues and improve payer relations.
• Identify process improvements and own improvement projects.
