Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years in revenue cycle, claims operations, denials, appeals, or medical billing.
• Comfortable reading EOBs, 835 remittance files, CPT codes, and claim adjustment reason codes.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tooling; used to ship or accelerate real work.
• Data and analytical tools experience (Excel/Sheets; SQL is a plus).
• Strong written communication and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate dispute eligibility against federal IDR requirements before filing.
• Own submissions through the CMS portal: documentation, offer amounts, supporting briefs.
• Monitor deadlines across active disputes and ensure timely action.
• Handle payer correspondence and track follow-ups to close disputes.
• Verify disputes are resolved and avoid premature closures.
• Read 835 remittance files and EOBs to reconstruct payer actions.
• Turn recurring patterns into specs, checklists, or prompts to streamline future cases.
• Collaborate with AI tools to automate repetitive parts and coordinate with engineering.
