Job summary

Optiv is seeking a Cyber Operations Advisor (Identity Security) to lead senior client engagements and shape identity security roadmaps. You will translate requirements into actionable strategies, drive security maturity, and partner with engineering teams to optimize performance for diverse clients.

The role requires deep IAM/PAM/IGA expertise, cloud identity experience across Azure, AWS, or GCP, and certifications such as CISSP/CISM/CCSP. Fully remote in continental U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience leading client-facing engagements in consulting, managed services, or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple client engagements, driving measurable security outcomes and operational improvements.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for Identity Security services.
• Translate business requirements into actionable Identity Security strategies and roadmaps.
• Drive service maturity through KPI analysis, operational metrics, and continual improvement initiatives.
• Provide expertise across IAM, PAM, Identity Governance (IGA), authentication, federation, and identity lifecycle management.
• Identify operational, governance, and security risks and recommend remediation strategies.
• Conduct service reviews, maturity assessments, and executive-level client presentations.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to optimize service performance and client outcomes.
• Support pre-sales, solution reviews, and strategic client initiatives.
• Validate service delivery aligns with client expectations, contractual commitments, and security objectives.
