Job summary

Optiv is seeking a Pre-Sales Partner Architect to serve as a strategic technical advisor, bridging sales, services, and partner ecosystems. This role drives pre-sales excellence through deep technical expertise, demos, and enablement programs that improve client outcomes.

You will champion partner technologies (IDIRA) across Optiv’s portfolio, define architectures and roadmaps, and collaborate with clients to ensure seamless integration and value realization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise identity security experience across IAM, PAM, EPM, IGA, or machine identity security.
• Experience with enterprise identity security platforms such as CyberArk/IDIRA, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, BeyondTrust, Delinea, SailPoint, Saviynt, Venafi, or comparable solutions.
• Strong expertise in at least one identity security domain and working knowledge of adjacent domains.
• Understanding of modern privileged access controls, including credential vaulting, rotation, session management, just-in-time access, and zero standing privilege.
• Familiarity with machine identity security, including secrets management, PKI, SSH keys, and workload identities.
• Familiarity with identity governance, lifecycle management, access reviews, ITDR.
• Understanding of AI agent security requirements, including identity discovery, authentication, and least-privilege access.
• Working knowledge of hybrid infrastructure, cloud platforms, APIs, and automation to integrate identity security across environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed presentations and demonstrations of partner technologies to internal teams and clients.
• Develop and maintain technical sales tools and documentation, including sizing guidelines and best practice and integration guides.
• Produce solution design and implementation documentation and drive use case development.
• Lead enablement sessions and workshops for sales and technical teams.
• Collaborate with client advisory and delivery teams to ensure alignment with deployment standards and security controls.
• Shadow partner engineering to stay aligned with evolving capabilities.
