Job summary

Optiv Security Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor to partner with clients, designing security programs and leading thought leadership across identity and access management. The role blends sales discipline with security know-how to deliver defensible, scalable solutions with Optiv's ecosystem of people, products, and partners.

You will work remotely, travel about 25%, and collaborate with account teams to meet quotas while maintaining advisory relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent and/or applicable work experience.
• 5+ years in information security focused on Identity and Access Management.
• Expertise with Identity Tools: SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, BeyondTrust, Idria (CyberArk).
• Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC.
• Experience speaking at events.
• Self-motivated, adaptable team player.
• Strong understanding of threat landscape and defensive controls.
• Excellent business and technical acumen for tech discussions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Drive the generation services and technologies business to meet quotas with account teams.
• Understand client security environment and map to Optiv solutions.
• Participate in Field Center of Excellence and promote Optiv services and partners.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and manage proposals.
• Articulate how Optiv portfolio meets client needs at leadership level.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and provide thought leadership.
• Collaborate with service delivery to ensure security materials and consistency.
• Develop security roadmaps aligned with business goals and ROI.
• Maintain advisory relationships with stakeholders and partners.
• Travel and engage with clients as needed.
