Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a senior leader for its Identity & Access Management team within Chronosphere, shaping authentication, authorization, and auditability across our platform. You will guide the roadmap, oversee security integrations, and partner with product teams to deliver reliable, scalable access controls that protect customer data and ensure compliance.

You will manage engineers, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with security partners to uphold strict standards

Qualifications

• Partner with PM to assess customer needs and own delivery against roadmap.
• Balance investments with customer requests for predictable delivery.
• Guide architectural decisions for a granular access control framework.
• Hire and onboard engineers and evolve team norms.
• Monitor SLOs/SLAs and ensure production reliability.
• Collaborate with security and compliance partners on reviews.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product manager to assess customer needs, co‑create the roadmap, and own delivery against it.
• Balance large investments alongside a steady cadence of customer requests while ensuring the team can deliver at a predictable pace.
• Guide the team through architectural decisions and technical design in the evolution of our granular access control framework.
• Hire and onboard engineers. Coach them through growing pains and evolve the team’s norms and cadence.
• Monitor SLOs, SLAs, and health of the system in production and take action to meet reliability goals.
• Work with security and compliance partners on reviews, audits, and commitments to customers.
