Job summary

NRI, Inc. seeks an IDD Reviewer to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This remote role requires weekly on-site visits across Washington, DC and residency in DC.

You will perform evaluations, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure person-centered care while maintaining thorough documentation and staying current on field best practices.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in developmental disabilities
• Must be a current DC resident
• Ability to advocate for residents' rights and independence

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess residents' needs, strengths, and challenges
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans with interdisciplinary teams
• Interview residents and family members to gather insights and ensure person-centered care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident progress
• Stay current on best practices in developmental disabilities
• Coordinate with Medicaid and Medicare to ensure compliance and proper documentation
• Advocate for residents' rights, independence, well-being, and community inclusion
• Provide training and guidance to staff on effective support strategies
• Manage a remote workload with required on-site visits across Washington, DC
