ChristianaCare is seeking a full-time Coder III for remote work across the United States. The role focuses on accurate ICD-10 CM/PCS and HCPCS/CPT coding, data abstraction, and compliance with coding guidelines.

• CCS credential is required.
• College degree or AHIMA certificate or 1 year coding experience.
• Associate or Bachelor in HIT preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Responsabilidades

• Assign ICD-10 CM/PCS and HCPCS/CPT codes for inpatient, outpatient, and other records.
• Support accuracy and timeliness of billing and data reporting.
• Follow Official Coding Guidelines and UHDDS definitions.
• Mentor newer coders and participate in team meetings.
• Abstract necessary data and enter into coding systems.

CCS credential

Health Information Management degree or AHIMA certificate

1 year coding experience (acute care)

Associate or Bachelor degree in Health Information Technology
