CorroHealth Inc. is seeking a remote Coding Auditor to evaluate client coder work on ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes across inpatient, outpatient, and physician encounters.

The role requires extensive acute-care coding/audit experience and preferred AHIMA or AAPC credentials, with standards for accuracy and timely reporting. Responsibilities include concurrent/retrospective reviews, producing audit deliverables, and educating clients on findings while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to

Qualificações

• AHIMA or AAPC credential is preferred.
• 5+ years coding or auditing in an acute care facility or clinic.
• Experience with telecommuting and electronic medical record systems.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate the work of clients' coders in assigning ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes for inpatient, outpatient and physician encounters.
• Perform concurrent or retrospective chart reviews to inventory code assignments and report to the client.
• Develop and deliver educational content to clients related to audit findings.
• Provide second-level review of processes to ensure compliance and accuracy of code assignments.
