Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking a remote coding auditor to evaluate inpatient and outpatient ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding in hospital and physician settings. The role focuses on auditing accuracy, educating clients, and delivering clear findings within audit reports.

Must hold an AHIMA or AAPC credential (CCS/RHIT/RHIA/CPC preferred) and have 5+ years of coding/auditing experience in acute care. This is a fully remote position with potential client engagements across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential.
• Minimum 5 years of inpatient/outpatient coding and/or auditing in an acute care setting.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient reimbursement methodologies and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex concurrent and retrospective coding audits to validate data.
• Prepare client-facing summaries with references supporting findings.
• Provide education and guidance on coding corrections and compliance.
