Job summary

CorroHealth Inc in the United States is seeking a remote Consulting Coding Auditor to evaluate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding across inpatient, outpatient, and physician encounters. You will conduct concurrent or retrospective reviews and deliver education on audit findings to clients.

Ideal candidates hold AHIMA/AAPC credentials (CCS/RHIT/RHIA preferred) with 5+ years of inpatient/outpatient coding or auditing experience in acute care. This is a remote position with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC credential required or preferred; CCS/RHIT/RHIA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of inpatient and outpatient coding/auditing experience.
• Experience in acute care facility or equivalent consulting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient MS Office; ability to translate regulatory requirements.
• Experience with multiple EMR systems.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements remotely.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex concurrent and retrospective coding audits of inpatient and outpatient records.
• Analyze findings, identify root causes, and prepare client reports.
• Provide second-level QA of audit results and ensure 95% accuracy.
• Develop and deliver educational content related to audit findings.
• Maintain client relations and communicate professionally.
• Travel as required.
