Job summary

CorroHealth is seeking an IP Coding Specialist for a remote US-based role. You will provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for 4+ specialties for one or more clients, with inpatient focus and potential to assist with audits.

Requirements include CPC/COC or CCS/CCS-P certification, 2+ years of experience, proficiency with Excel/Outlook, and access to CPT/ICD-10-CM references. Maintain high productivity and quality in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Certified through AAPC CPC/COC or AHIMA CCS/CCS-P.
• Preferred CCS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of coding experience.
• Experience with EMR and billing systems.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Must have CPT and ICD-10-CM references.
• Maintain 95% productivity and quality targets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide coding services for multiple specialties.
• Analyze medical records to assign ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS codes.
• Code ER procedures and other chart types as needed.
• Apply ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS codes accurately.
• Ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
• Communicate with clients professionally to support business interests.
• Assist leadership with reports and audits as needed.
• Adhere to AHIMA/Code of Ethics and privacy rules.
