Job summary

CTG, a Cegeka company, is seeking an experienced mainframe printing specialist to support IBM Infoprint/IPS and associated environments. The role covers form definitions, fonts, and layouts, with migration planning and implementation support.

You will work with cross-functional teams on print modernization, including USS, RACF, and VTAM components, and contribute to ensuring reliable print services across remote and mainframe systems. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with IBM Infoprint/IPS and mainframe print systems.
• Experience with z/OS administration and print migrations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer IBM Infoprint/IPS and related mainframe print environments.
• Provide expertise in form creation, fonts, layouts, overlays, and definitions (PAGEDEFS, FORMDEFS).
• Analyze current print products and environments to support migration planning and execution.
• Support local and remote printing solutions, including print servers outside the mainframe.
• Troubleshoot and operate systems using SDSF and JES2.
• Assist with z/OS product installation and configuration activities.
• Collaborate with networking, security, and mainframe teams to resolve print issues.
• Develop and maintain REXX scripts and JCL for print system operations.
• Support USS, RACF, TCP/IP, VTAM and other z/OS components related to print services.
• Provide guidance for mainframe print modernization and migration initiatives.
