Job summary

Concord is seeking an IBM i / WebSmart Developer to support and extend business-critical applications on their IBM i environment. You will maintain existing IBM i apps while building web interfaces on top of legacy systems, closely collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of IBM i experience with WebSmart, RPG/RPGLE, CL, and DB2 for i, and strong communication and leadership skills. Remote USA-based role with potential on-site travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM i systems.
• Experience with WebSmart for web application development.
• RPG/RPGLE and CL programming experience.
• Experience with DB2 for i.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a production support environment.
• Experience in environmental services, waste management, or a similarly regulated industry.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing IBM i applications.
• Design and build web-based interfaces using WebSmart.
• Support integration between legacy IBM i systems and modern web front-ends.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Occasional onsite visits/travel as needed for projects.
