Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in computing or information systems.
• Three+ years of IBM i application development in a production environment.
• Experience with RPGLE, CLLE, embedded SQL, and Db2 for i.
• Experience with reporting tools (Query/400, SQL, Cognos) or equivalent.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus and must be used responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support IBM i applications (RPGLE/CLLE, Db2 for i).
• Analyze requirements, translate to functional/technical specs, and troubleshoot issues.
• Create technical and user documentation and operational procedures.
• Support reporting and analytics using Cognos, SQL, or Sequel.
• Participate in modernization efforts and improve automation and UX.
• Provide after-hours support for critical systems and occasional travel up to 5%.
