Job summary

Concordance Healthcare Solutions, LLC is seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our team in a fully remote or any Concordance location. You will participate in analysis, design, development, testing, and support of enterprise applications, focusing on IBM i environments and modernizing legacy systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of IBM i experience with RPGLE, CLLE, embedded SQL, and Db2 for i, plus strong analytical and communication skills to work with users and IS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS or related field.
• 3+ years of IBM i business applications experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with users and teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support IBM i applications using RPGLE, CLLE, embedded SQL, Db2 for i.
• Analyze business processes and translate requirements into specs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes.
• Create technical and user documentation and procedures.
• Support reporting and data extraction with SQL, Cognos, or Sequel.
• Participate in modernization efforts including refactoring and automation.
• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve development and documentation.
• Collaborate with users and IS team to prioritize work.
• Share best practices with team.
• Provide after-hours support for critical systems.
• Travel up to 5%.
• Other duties as assigned.
