Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a senior leader for Identity & Access Management. The role sits between platform engineering and product, protecting authentication and access across dashboards, APIs, and customer data.

You will scale the team, own roadmaps, and ensure reliability and security posture while partnering with cross‑functional partners. You will start by learning our authentication systems, meeting team members, and shaping the roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product manager to assess customer needs, co‑create the roadmap, and own delivery against it.
• Balance investments alongside a steady cadence of customer requests while ensuring the team can deliver at a predictable pace.
• Guide the team through architectural decisions and technical design for the granular access control framework.
• Hire and onboard engineers, coach them through growth, and evolve team norms and delivery cadence.
• Monitor SLOs, SLAs, and health of production systems to meet reliability goals.
• Collaborate with security and compliance partners on reviews and audits.
