Chronosphere, a Palo Alto Networks company, seeks a senior technical leader for Identity & Access Management. You will define architectural direction, own high-stakes work, stay hands-on with code, and mentor engineers in a rapidly growing platform.

You will work on access control, SSO/SCIM, service accounts, and security‑conscious deployments across cloud platforms. This is a remote role with cross‑geography collaboration.

Qualifications

• A track record of taking an ambitious vision from an idea to production.
• Ability to work through ambiguity collaboratively with customers and partners toward iterative execution.
• Experience owning initiatives that span several teams from inception to delivery.
• Experience with large scale distributed systems, and the judgment to weigh reliability, scalability, security, cost, and time-to-market trade-offs.
• Fluency in a system-level language such as Go, C++, Java, C#, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the design of our granular access control framework and set the platform's architectural direction.
• Lead initiatives spanning teams, negotiating priorities and dependencies.
• Ship and maintain platform capabilities in Go on Kubernetes across AWS and GCP.
• Own production reliability, monitor SLOs, and address security and reliability risks.
• Eliminate systemic toil through architecture, deployment, and tooling improvements.
• Partner with product managers to align roadmaps with customer needs.
• Balance investments with customer requests for steady delivery.
• Collaborate with downstream teams to implement what you ship.
• Work with security and compliance partners on reviews and commitments.
• Track IAM trends and turn insights into technical bets.
• Mentor engineers and help grow the team through hiring.
