Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to design, deliver, and support the IAM program across enterprise cloud platforms. You will integrate new applications, optimize identity processes, and resolve complex access issues while staying current with industry trends.

The role covers on-call support, collaboration with IT teams, and mentoring junior staff. A strong background in cloud IAM technologies and security best practices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS/CIS or related field (required).
• 4+ years of identity and access management experience.
• Expert knowledge in IAM areas: Cloud-based identity platforms, Authentication/Authorization, Access Provisioning, Directory Services, SSO, Federation, Privileged Access Management, Digital Certificates/PKI and MFA.
• Hands-on experience with Entra, OCI, GCP, Ping, and ServiceNow.
• Knowledge and experience developing, deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise cloud-based IAM solutions.
• Understanding of AuthN/AuthZ best practices and OAuth 2.0 standards and experience with Web Services, REST, SOAP, and XML technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux and scripting in Java, PowerShell, Bash/Shell, Python.
• Knowledge of enterprise security tools including identity management, access control, security operations and management tools.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud and IAM industry trends and competition.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for verifying and ensuring performance and stability of IAM applications (Ping, SailPoint ISC, Entra, GCP, OCI, OpenText, ServiceNow).
• Administer identity and access in enterprise cloud platforms: configuration, maintenance, coordination, enhancement, troubleshooting, roadmap, and policy.
• Support day-to-day operations to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of time-critical identity information.
• Provide 24x7 support as needed, including on-call after-hours rotation.
• Design, implement, test, and support enhancements to IAM systems, services and technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support Dev, Test, and QA processes.
• Apply understanding of technical problems to research and resolve access-related issues independently.
• Communicate IAM processes and technical solutions effectively to project managers and teams.
• Demonstrate knowledge of application security and risk management.
• Build positive relationships with team members and customers.
• Identify potential improvements within Identity & Access Management.
