Job summary

The Eaton Corporation seeks an Application & System Reliability Engineer to support hyperscale design, reliability and quality engineering teams. This remote role requires residency in the United States and provides exposure to advanced data center power distribution systems.

You will collaborate with sales, product lines and reliability teams to drive DFMEA activities, 8D problem-solving and root-cause investigations, ensuring product solutions meet reliability targets and customer requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum seven (7) years of electrical sales/marketing and/or application engineering experience.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
No relocation is offered for this position. Active‑Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred qualifications include MBA, product line, reliability experience, DFMEA, and PE license.

Responsibilities

Support design and reliability engineers at hyperscale accounts to ensure reliability requirements are met.
Serve as the primary point of contact for reliability and quality engineering support for Eaton rep sales teams.
Act as an application and reliability expert within hyperscale accounts to support account managers.
Facilitate collaboration between hyperscale and product lines to drive design recommendations and DFMEA.
Engage with customer reliability teams to understand and address quality challenges.
Lead 8D problem-solving and root-cause investigations with stakeholders to timely closure.
