Job summary

Eaton Corporation's ES AMER NAS division seeks an Application Engineer for Data Center hyperscale systems design. This home-based role requires residing in the United States and focuses on technical sales, design leadership, and collaboration with global teams to shape Eaton data center solutions.

The candidate will guide engineering design, coordinate with sales, and contribute to strategic roadmaps while maintaining strong knowledge of power distribution products and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum seven (7) years of electrical sales/marketing/application engineering experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• No relocation benefit offered; Active‑Duty Military Service members are exempt from geographical area limitation.
• Preferred: Electrical Engineering degree, MBA, PE license, LEED AP, and extensive electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Support design engineers at hyperscale accounts, aid in technical design and position Eaton products.
• Act as the primary technical contact for Eaton rep sales teams.
• Serve as a technical expert within hyperscale accounts team and support account managers.
• Collaborate with MTDC AE team to align future Eaton data center solutions.
• Lead global design efforts and localize designs for all regions.
• Facilitate collaboration between hyperscale and Eaton product lines on innovations.
• Represent hyperscale in roadmap discussions and guide long‑term strategy.
