Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Application & System Reliability Engineer for a remote role within the United States. You will support hyperscale design and reliability teams, applying deep knowledge of electrical distribution and power quality to optimize Eaton solutions.

You will collaborate with sales, product lines, and reliability teams to drive DFMEA actions and 8D investigations, ensuring timely resolution of issues and alignment with product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and relevant experience required.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution products including medium/low voltage switchgear and panelboards.
• Experience with reliability and quality engineering in hyperscale or data-center environments.
• Ability to lead 8D problem-solving and root cause investigations.

Responsibilities

• Support hyperscale accounts to ensure Eaton products meet reliability requirements.
• Act as primary reliability and quality engineering contact for rep sales teams.
• Lead and coordinate DFMEA activities and 8D investigations with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with product lines to drive reliability improvements and product roadmaps.
