Job summary

Eagle Creek Renewable Energy (ECRE) is seeking an ITC/PTC Program Manager to drive end-to-end qualification efforts for its hydroelectric portfolio. You will bridge cross-functional inputs and own the qualification work and evidence set for tax credits.

The role requires technical fluency in hydropower project lifecycles, vendor deliverable tracking, IRS compliance basics, and strong cross-functional coordination to meet tax deadlines and safe-harbor rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Business, or a related technical/analytical field.
• 3 to 8+ years of professional experience in energy project development, asset management, project controls, or renewable energy finance/tax credit compliance.
• Cross-functional fluency and eagerness to learn IRS regulatory frameworks with internal support.

Responsibilities

• Credit Qualification Oversight: coordinate tracking and verification of inputs, documentation, and milestones for ITC/PTC qualifications.
• Audit & Diligence Readiness: maintain a clean qualification file for each facility for IRS review.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: act as the central hub for a matrixed team and align inputs from supporting departments.
• IRS Compliance Alignment: work with internal tax specialists to interpret IRS requirements and ensure evidentiary trails.
• Vendor & Deliverable Tracking: monitor external vendor deliverables tied to tax credit qualification requirements.
• Schedule & Milestone Monitoring: maintain a master tracker to monitor qualification milestones and tax deadlines.
• Executive Reporting: prepare dashboards and status reports on program health and risks for leadership.
