Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, seeks an EPC SCADA Project Manager II to lead utility-scale solar and BESS EPC projects focused on SCADA systems, planning, budgeting, and risk management.

The role can be remote or hybrid, with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR; you will collaborate with Owners, vendors, and SOLV teams to deliver on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of PM experience, including utility-scale PV solar projects.
• General knowledge of SCADA system design, setup, commissioning, and support.
• Ability to manage cost budgets and project resources.
• Proven skills in issue escalation, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation.
• Experience with scheduling software and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage SCADA scope, schedule, and budget throughout the EPC lifecycle.
• Interpret SCADA contract requirements and ensure alignment with SOLV standards.
• Serve as primary contact for Owners, vendors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and ensure alignment with goals.
• Lead procurement and contract execution activities and project closeout.
• Work with field teams to ensure timely, high-quality installation of SCADA components.
• Lead design reviews, commissioning, and FAT activities.
• Develop and manage project schedules to protect critical milestones.
• Prepare monthly cost reporting and forecasting for assigned projects.
• Oversee project documentation and change control.
• Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, and execution risks.
• Maintain relationships with partners, clients, and vendors.
• Implement SOLV best practices in scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Lead closeout and lessons learned to improve execution.
