Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee a book of business, drive client retention, and coordinate service requests. The role supports day‑to‑day admin tasks, policy administration, billing and renewals while working with a collaborative team in a hybrid/remote setup.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry, with active P&C licensing and a preferred CIC designation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Active property & casualty licensing required
• Professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organization

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business
• Coordinate day‑to‑day administrative and customer service activities
• Resolve complex issues and ensure accurate policy administration and billing
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals; prepare submissions and negotiate coverages
• Collaborate with team to maintain data accuracy in agency systems and carrier portals
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain frequent, transparent communication with account team about workloads and issues
• Deliver proactive, high‑quality service and adapt to changing client needs
