Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, drive account retention, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy in policy administration.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in account management (or 5+ years in insurance), active property & casualty license (CIC preferred), strong analytical and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Ensure accuracy in policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Renewals: manage expirations, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquencies and drive collections; maintain agency systems and data quality.
