Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, focus on client retention, and support new business development.

You will coordinate day-to-day administrative tasks, handle policy administration, billing, claims analysis, and renewal processes, while maintaining strong carrier relationships and delivering proactive, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Active property & casualty licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, focusing on retention and new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis
• Manage policy expirations and renewals
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency systems and ensure data accuracy
