Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Technical Product Support Engineer to provide remote startup, operation, and troubleshooting support for Trane/American Standard Unitary equipment. You will guide customers through equipment, document results, and ensure safety while applying basic electrical and refrigeration knowledge.

The role requires extensive field experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Requires excellent communication skills and customer focus.
• Experience with HVAC equipment and systems beneficial.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work remotely as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers remotely with startup, operation, and diagnosis of HVAC products.
• Determine root causes and advise best actions to resolve issues while prioritizing customer safety.
• Document work and follow defined procedures; create internal/external knowledge content.
• Coordinate with manufacturing site teams and field offices on issues and service alerts.
• Contribute to new product introductions focusing on unit serviceability.
